The highly anticipated Intersolar South America 2025 will take place from August 26-28, 2025, in São Paulo, Brazil. Fonrich New Energy is excited to participate, showcasing cutting-edge advancements in the field of photovoltaic safety. We warmly invite industry partners to visit our booth for insightful discussions and to explore the latest trends in solar safety development.
Focus on Photovoltaic Safety: Fonrich’s Expertise in Arc Fault Detection
In the long-term operation of photovoltaic power plants, DC arc faults are one of the most significant safety risks, often leading to fire hazards. As a key player in photovoltaic safety, Fonrich has spent years focusing on arc fault detection technology. We have developed a range of high-precision, high-reliability products that safeguard the safety of photovoltaic plants worldwide.
Core Advantages of Fonrich’s Arc Fault Detection Technology
Precise Detection and Fast Shutdown:
Moving from "passive protection" to "intelligent prediction," Fonrich’s string-level arc protectors monitor series and parallel arcs in each string, accurately pinpointing faulty strings. The system can shut down faulty strings in milliseconds, ensuring that unaffected strings continue to generate electricity.
Intelligent Diagnosis and Real-Time Monitoring:
Fonrich's technology integrates a 1600-meter loop communication capability, enabling real-time monitoring of arc occurrences, string currents, and other operational data. This allows for remote monitoring and health diagnostics at the string level, creating a “safety profile” for the power plant. In commercial BIPV projects, this feature allows managers to monitor the health status of each string through a platform, transforming the string-level arc protector from a "safety switch" into a "data hub."
Convenient Installation and Maximized Efficiency:
Fonrich’s arc fault protection system requires no major modifications to existing electrical structures or wiring. By simply adding protectors at the string level, arc fault protection is achieved, which significantly reduces construction costs, shortens installation timelines, and lowers renovation expenses. Additionally, when faults occur, the system cuts off the faulty string without impacting the operation of the other healthy strings, ensuring continued generation and protecting the plant's economic performance.
