1. Connect the 485 communication cable to the “A and B” terminals of the host module as shown below:

2. Connect the 485 communication shield wire between the converter boxes connected in series as follows:

Note: The shield wire inside the converter box cannot be grounded!

3. After suspending the shield lines of all the convergence boxes in series, ground them at a single point at the communication manager as shown below:
