Fonrich Debuts with Latest MLPE Technology Solutions at the 2023 Energy Electronics Expo
On November 8, the 2023 Energy Electronics Industry Development Conference and Guangdong New Energy Storage Industry Summit Forum were held in Zhuhai. The event focused on key areas of energy electronics such as new energy storage and intelligent photovoltaics, aiming to accelerate the creation of internationally competitive pilot demonstration zones for energy electronics. At this exhibition, Fonrich New Energy introduced its latest MLPE (Module-Level Power Electronics) leading technology: smart shutdown & safety protection devices, smart safety optimizers, and AFCI arc fault protection boxes among other products.
Promoting Diversified Development of New Energy Storage and Increasing Power Plant Revenue
As carbon neutrality becomes a global initiative, the green and low-carbon transformation of energy structures is accelerating. All of Fonrich’s products focus on the design concepts of “extremely high efficiency, extremely high safety, and extremely high adaptability,” creating a systematic solution for distributed MLPE that is suitable for various application scenarios such as DC photovoltaic power generation, user side, and grid side. This aids in enhancing energy storage systems, increasing photovoltaic benefits, and safeguarding system safety, thus providing customers with more stable returns.
The development model of photovoltaic power plants has shifted from extensive to refined, imposing higher requirements on management models. Particularly for distributed photovoltaic power plants, where dispersed layouts and local climate and environmental changes affect power generation capacity, management complexity has increased.
Fonrich’s smart safety optimizer system uses intelligent photovoltaic curve matching technology to track the maximum power point of each module, eliminating power loss due to module mismatch, and effectively ensuring power plant revenue.
In simple terms, it addresses the “weakest link” effect of strings by refining control precision to each photovoltaic module, providing “one-on-one management” for each module to achieve independent optimal power generation. Test results show that installing Fonrich’s smart photovoltaic optimizers can increase power generation by 5%-25%, and they are compatible with any third-party inverters.
Building a Strategic Pillar for Stable Power Plant Revenue
Another major challenge in achieving refined management of photovoltaics is safety. Fire is the greatest safety hazard for photovoltaic power plants. In the event of a fire, not only is there a loss of power plant costs and generation revenue, but in severe cases, it can also cause damage to buildings and personal injury.
Fonrich integrates arc detection and interruption technology (AFCI) into its safety protection system, which can identify and disconnect arcs at each module immediately, ensuring the safety of distributed photovoltaic systems.
Amplifying Product Synergies to Provide a Refined Operation Platform for Power Plants
Currently, Fonrich is further exploring the field of digital intelligence. Its independently developed SafeSolar intelligent operation and maintenance system, based on big data and IoT technology, offers real-time data monitoring, arc fault detection, active protection and fault location, data analysis, remote upgrade control, and other functions for Fonrich’s smart safety protection devices and smart photovoltaic optimizers. This allows users to remotely and timely understand the real-time and historical operation of photovoltaic power plants, promptly handle faults, and further enhance the intelligence, safety, operational efficiency, and convenience of photovoltaic power plants.
