Italy 90V Solar Rapid Shutdown Device


    One of a distributed solar system's crucial safety components is the PV Rapid Shutdown System (PVRSS). Its main duties include turning on the shutdown mechanism, lowering the voltage to below 30V in 30 seconds, and doing it at a distance of 30cm from the PV module. When the building where the PV module is installed needs maintenance or firefighting, electric shocks and other potential safety hazards can be effectively avoided, as well as the lives of maintenance personnel and firefighters.

System Components


PV Rapid Shutdown System (PVRSS) is instead composed of the following PV swiftly shutdown devices:

1. Tail Module(FR-PVMS-Txxx): A rapid shutdown module with monitoring, which can quickly shut down the PV strings and transmit the information of the PV strings to the head module by the PLC signal. 

2. Head Module(FR-PVMS-Hxx): Controls the tail module by the PLC signal, and transmit the information to the main controller by RS485. 

3. Main Controller(FR-PVMS-Mxxx): Displays the power and other information of the PV strings, and transmit the data to the cloud platform at the same time. Users can remotely control it by the mobile phone APP(SafeSolar).
