PV Rapid Shutdown System (PVRSS) is one of the integral safety factors of dispensed photovoltaic system. Its crucial attribute is to restriction the voltage of 30cm away from the PV module to under 30V inner 30s after the shutdown gadget is started.When the developing the vicinity the PV module is positioned requires renovation or firefighting, it can successfully prevent possible safety dangers such as electric powered powered shocks, and shield the lives of safety personnel and firefighters.

System Components


PV Rapid Shutdown System (PVRSS) is primarily composed of the following PV rapid shutdown devices:

1. Tail Module(FR-PVMS-Txxx): A quick shutdown module with monitoring, which can rapidly shut down the PV strings and transmit the archives of the PV strings to the head module by the PLC signal.

2. Head Module(FR-PVMS-Hxx): Controls the tail module with the resource of the PLC signal, and transmit the statistics to the critical controller by using way of RS485.

3. Main Controller(FR-PVMS-Mxxx): Displays the electricity and distinctive information of the PV strings, and transmit the information to the cloud platform at the same time. Users can remotely control it thru the cell smartphone APP(SafeSolar).
